 DAN OWENS
As a young youth pastor, Dan Owens
had a vision of his life-long calling - to be an evangelist. Inspired by
the C. S. Lewis quote "If you read history, you will find that the
Christians who did the most for present world were just those who
thought most of the next.", Dan Owens is devoted to "touching lives
forever" by meeting the needs of today and making an eternal difference
for generations to come. Over the past two decades across America and in
nearly forty countries, Dan Owens has proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus
Christ and has communicated the need for personal renewal to hundreds of
thousands of people.
Christianity Today profiled Dan Owens
as one of fifty "Up and Comers" - one of "the many faithful disciples
God has raised up to lead the church into the new millennium." This
recognition is the result of his unique ability to adapt his
contemporary messages to impact any audience. The British publication
Evangelism Today says, "Dan Owens has a winsome way with words, and a
smile that makes it possible to say almost anything without giving
offense."
Dan spent twelve years with the Luis
Palau Evangelistic Association (LPEA) as Director of Training and as
Palau's first Associate Evangelist. During that time, Dan Owens and Luis
Palau experienced a lot of life and ministry together. Luis was the
perfect mentor for such an eager learner with a gift for preaching the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dan's years with Luis Palau prepared him for the
ministry that God was calling him to.
In 1998, Dan formed Eternity Minded
Ministries (EMM) a ministry based in Paso Robles, California but with a
heart for the entire world. Much of what Dan learned from his mentor has
stayed with him; although Dan has crafted EMM to expand into other areas
ministry. Dan Owens and Eternity Minded Ministries has gained a
reputation as a ministry that returns to the cities to do the hard work
of discipleship and church planting.

Jesus?. Dan has helped train thousands of Christians to build bridges to
the unchurched world through his books, speaking engagements and his

engaging and authentic speaker that is passionate about communicating
the need for personal renewal and service.
Dan Owens is a graduate of San Diego
Christian College and Multnomah Seminary in Portland, Oregon. As an
approved Staley lecturer for colleges and universities, Dan has been a
featured speaker at Alive, Creation Festival, Spirit-Fest Midwest, and
other youth events across the country and around the world.
Now residing in Paso Robles,
California, Dan and his wife Debby are enjoying their life in ministry
and their family, Ben and his wife Chrissy, Jordan, and Taylor.
