"If you read history,
you will find that the Christians who did the most for present world
were just those who thought most of the next."

"During
the August mission I was in Maluku prison. I had been there only a short
time but all of the men there were telling me to expect to stay there
for at least 2 years before my case would be heard by a judge. I had
given my life to the Lord in 1998 but when I went to college I began to
enjoy the pleasures of the world and I got so bad I even began to cause
trouble for Christians. I even fornicated which is how I came to be in
prison. Even though the fornication took place several years ago the
girl's father has just found out and had me arrested for rape. So while
I am in prison I can see how much I have messed up my life. I was
thinking even of ending my life. Then these whites came with a Gospel
program and I decided to go. At that program the preacher's message
renewed my hope in Jesus and I re-confessed Jesus as my savior. I found
new hope in the lord and began praying that I would be released from
prison. I even told others in prison that I would be released and they
scoffed. Then on August 19th I was called by the guards to go out of
prison and go before a judge. Many of those with me were very surprised
and asked why did I get a court date when they all have been waiting for
many years? Even on that day as I was before the judge he released me
from prison. So to this day I am praising the lord for this new life I
have in Christ and I will now keep serving Him!"
